The Landmark Hotel - Carrick-on-Shannon

The rooms were very comfortable, and the staff were welcoming, just like my previous visit. I enjoyed a good bar meal, and breakfast was great. The hotel’s location by the river Shannon added to the charm, making it a lovely place to unwind.

The location was fantastic and favourable, just next door to communal areas. The rooms were bright and fairly quiet with comfortable bed, adjoining enclosed terrace plus bedroom, just what was needed👍

The staff were friendly and helpful! Breakfast was a delight, with many self-serve options plus a hot dish selection. Great value for a family trip!

Room temperature was a major issue, as it felt uncomfortably cold due to ineffective heating. Noise from the nearby bar made it challenging to get a good night's sleep.

The bar food was excellent, it was of a very high standard. The staff were friendly and helpful. The check in was seemless.

Attended friends wedding there, had great time. Found hotel staff very helpful and wedding seemed very organised and professional!!

The Landmark provides a professional atmosphere designed for business travelers. The conference room was well-equipped, and the staff efficiently assisted with setting up my presentation equipment. The restaurant offered a varied menu with high-quality meals that catered to my dietary preferences. The room itself was spacious, with a comfortable desk area perfect for working .

Breakfast service was slow and disorganized on the last morning.

The Food was excellent

The was a faulty single bed in the room and we had constant problems accessing the door with the key card. One problem was when the cover fell off from the holder for the card to allow the electric to come on in your room, once reported this was mended straight away.

My room was more like a small flat and had lovely views over the Shannon. Staff were wonderful throughout.

I recently enjoyed a short getaway at the hotel, and it had the WOW factor. The check-in was swift, and the staff, especially the friendly receptionist, provided excellent local tips. Our room was beautifully decorated with a stunning view of the Shannon. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order, which is a rare treat these days, and the tapas menu in the conservatory was a good surprise. The bar was stylish, adding to the overall classy atmosphere.

The Landmark Hotel has lovely decor and is very accessible, with helpful staff always ready to lend a hand. The inviting lobby and comfortable seating areas make it a good place for seniors to relax and enjoy.

A swimming pool would enhance the experience.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Room was very clean with a lovely outlook over the river. Restaurant provided an excellent bar and menu and the food we had was very good. Breakfast was also very good with quality food provided.

This place was just a prime choice for a brief stop-in in Carrick-on-Shannon with great value. The staff was very friendly and helped fix a small issue in our room right away. Make sure to bring your own toiletries for the bathroom.

The welcome and friendly staff, the breakfast served to your table. Good quality food in the restuarant. Room was a good size. Proximity to town centre. Complimentry news paper and bottled water in room appreciated.

Restuarant service (Boardwalk) was extremely slow although the food was of excellent quality. Down to not enough staff as all staff were clearly working hard.
